Job Description

The Business Development Manager's position is a key position in the Company. Working closely with the VP of Sales, the Business Development Manager will participate in meeting SPR's key objectives by executing marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue and profit goals. The Business Development Manager will focus on opportunities that complement SPR's project-based and strategic staffing model and seek to create opportunities for  expansion in the Midwestern Region.

 
Responsibilities: 

 

Business Development

  • Participates in the development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable, timely growth and the expansion of company offerings
  • Meets and exceeds various sales goals to include pipeline goals, client meetings, profit and  revenue targets
  • Identifies, networks with, and markets to technology and line of business prospects
  • Attends company-held events, outside networking events and other client activities (dinners, lunches, etc.)
  • Develops and maintains long-term client relationships.  Aids in maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Creates and delivers accurate and timely proposals, statements of work, RFI's/RFP's/RFQ's for new business opportunities with new and existing clients

 

General

  • May act in a mentorship capacity to colleagues and Inside Sales Reps
  • Participates in department and company meetings

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship builder and connects easily with others
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years selling in a technology field (services is preferred)
  • Experience with solution selling preferred
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain relationships and revenue with key players at accounts
  • Adept with Micro
