    Software Architect

    As a Software Architect at SPR, create complex solutions and play a strategic leadership role within the company and with clients. You will be responsible for full lifecycle development, and must be able to articulate design decisions and translate business requirements/user stories into application logic. Our Architects are a driving force behind the success of our projects. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who keeps an eye on trends and new technology in the industry and who is eager to tackle challenging troubleshooting and development tasks.



    • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities in the face of ambiguity
    • Attention to software quality, using tools such as source control, unit testing and continuous integration
    • Attention to object-oriented analysis and design principles
    • Performs technical reviews and design sign-offs on projects to ensure that they are properly estimated, architected and will be implemented and displayed appropriately
    • Defines and implements project level technical standards, guidelines, metrics, architectures and processes
    • Collaborate with clients to develop functional work flows and business plans
    • Ensures solution is aligned with standards defined by the client
    • Experience in architecting and engineering innovative software solutions
    • Familiarity with consulting and traditional application design
    • Providing input to functional design, testing, and troubleshooting
    • Demonstrated ability and strong desire to grasp new technologies
    • Able to manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
    • Possess strong interpersonal, leadership, and organization skills
    • Provides day-to-day leadership to team members as appropriate
    • Strong communication with both technical and business teams
    • Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities
    • Great attitude and commitment to get the job done

    • 8+ years of Software Development
    • Minimum of one year of experience providing technical leadership, guidance and mentorship
    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
