    SPR is looking for a Solution Architect that will develop and deliver innovative solutions using on-premises versions of SharePoint, Office 365 and the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility & Security suite.




    The Solution Architect will develop and oversee the overall technical design and delivery of solutions using the technologies stated above, including the following required responsibilities:


    • Lead and participate in architecture & design sessions with both SPR’s and the client’s project team
    • Develop and document the solution design and overall technical strategy
    • Work with external partners, third party technology providers and outside applications as necessary in order to support technical solution components
    • Be an expert resource for internal SPR consultants, acting as the final technical arbiter of relevant technical questions and decisions.
    • Mentor the technical skills of consultants learning these technologies.


    In addition, the Solution Architect will provide technical leadership for the technologies stated above, including the following desired responsibilities:


    • As part of our partnership with Microsoft, lead training sessions with customers on key technologies (e.g., PowerBI, PowerApps, Flow, and Microsoft Teams)
    • Participate as a speaker and organizer in local community and thought leadership initiatives including user groups and technical conferences.




    The following professional qualifications are required:


    • A strong technical competency in on-premises SharePoint versions and Office 365. This includes migration, administration, configuration, feature capabilities, and information architecture. For Office 365, a strong technical competency is required for the major workloads (SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, etc.) with a deep expertise in at least one major workload.
    • The ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients and users.
    • A demonstrated ability to develop and implement PowerShell scripts for on-premises SharePoint and Office 365.
    • A demonstrated understanding of the key third party tools relevant to solutions for Office 365 and SharePoint.


    The following professional qualifications are desired:


    • A strong technical competency in Enterprise Mobility & Security including Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Information Protection.
    • A demonstrated ability to architect Office 365 apps, taking into consideration client requirements, key technologies (SharePoint Framework, Microsoft Graph, etc.), and development methodologies.




    • Solution Architects should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience working with on-premises versions of SharePoint, Office 365, or related Microsoft technologies in a technical capacity with at least 2 years spent developing, architecting and implementing solutions on SharePoint or Office 365.
