    HR COORDINATOR

    WHAT IS THE POSITION?

     

    The HR Coordinator plays an integral role in the Recruiting and Human Resources departments and will report the HR Director..  He/she will be responsible for conducting all duties associated with the recruitment and selection of internal office personnel. This person demonstrates an interest in expanding their skillset within the HR and Recruitment functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assists in planning and execution of employee engagement activities
    • Helps administer open enrollment
    • Participates in benefit planning, 401k, and wellness meetings
    • Performs administrative and clerical tasks in support of Recruiting, Staffing and HR teams
    • Responsible for onboarding new hires; sending new hire welcome emails
    • Conduct new hire orientation
    • Complete I-9 verification and maintain I-9 binder
    • Process employment verifications as requested
    • Reconcile monthly vacation/sick accrual reports
    • Schedule new hire milestone check-ins with HR Director
    • Complete data entry in payroll system of new hires, rehires, terminations, status changes, and all critical and non-critical employee information changes.
    • Monthly bill reconciliation for all benefits
    • Support the Accounting & Recruiting team on an as needed basis
    • Ad hoc duties as assigned

     

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources related field
    • 2+ years' work experience in Human Resources or comparable field
    • Experience using Paycom preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, intermediate level Excel
    • This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must have excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills
