    SPR is looking for a Senior Software Consultant in the ModernApps Practice. This consultant will develop and deliver innovative solutions using Office 365 workloads, components of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility & Security Suite and on-premises versions of SharePoint. You may be responsible for full lifecycle development, and must be able to articulate design decisions and translate business requirements/user stories into application logic. Our Engineers are a driving force behind the success of our projects. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who keeps an eye on trends and new technology in the industry and who is eager to tackle challenging troubleshooting and development tasks.




    The Senior Consultant will have the following responsibilities:


    • Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities in the face of ambiguity
    • Ability to prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
    • Strong understanding of computing systems, software architecture, data structures and algorithms
    • Provide input into and help document solution designs and technical strategies
    • Support requirements gathering and technical solution design for Ofice 365 workloads, SharePoint on-premises, and products in the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite.
    • Migrate, configure, and consult with clients on features for Office 365, SharePoint on-premises, and the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security Suite.
    • Ability to prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming
    • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines
    • Able to manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team
    • Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities
    • Assists in the interview and integration processes
    • Great attitude and commitment to get the job done




    The following professional qualifications are required:


    • Technical competency in on-premises SharePoint versions and Office 365, including migration, administration, configuration, and feature cabilities.
    • Technical competency for at least one of the major Office 365 workloads (SharePoint Online, Skype for Business, Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, etc.).
    • A demonstrated ability to develop and implement PowerShell scripts for on-premises SharePoint and Office 365.
    • Microsoft Certified Professional and with a desire to remain current with both industry and Microsoft technologies and standards.
    • A demonstrated ability to write code using C#, JavaScript and associated frameworks or similar.

    • Seniore Consultants in the Office 365 practice should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience working with on-premises versions of SharePoint, Office 365, or related Microsoft technologies in a technical capacity.
    • BA or BS, preferably in computer science, engineering or science / technology-based discipline
