    WHAT IS THE POSITION?

As a Senior Angular Developer at SPR, you will help our team deliver several customer-facing responsive web apps. The role includes leveraging existing company libraries when appropriate and building reusable components and modules as needed to deliver features using agile methods. The environment emphasizes software engineering best practices including automated testing, quality documentation, and repeatable, reliable delivery. UX and visual design will be provided, but the developer will be responsible for implementing animations, CSS, and final HTML output. You will work closely with the back-end developers so that the team delivers full-stack features.

The developer must be comfortable with git, DevOps processes, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, code quality tools, macOS, Visual Studio Code, and web testing tools.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work with a team of developers crafting production-ready, internet-scale web applications
    • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
    • Working with the UX team to provide feasibility and effort estimates for concepts
    • Contribute to story estimates for new requirements, then collaborate with your team to execute the delivery from start to finish

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Professional, precise communication skills
    • Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
    • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
    • Understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, the overall system architecture, and the team's DevOps processes
    • Experience with all levels of operation available to the front-end beyond Angular, such as working with XHRs directly in JS
    • Documenting the code inline using TSDoc or other conventions
    • Documenting the project, components, and modules using Markdown and visual diagrams
    • Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
    • Creating e2e test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor
    • Maintaining configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • 5+ years of professional experience
    • BA or BS, preferably in computer science, engineering or science / technology-based discipline

If this sounds like the kind of challenge you would be up for every day, we would love to hear from you.
