WHAT IS THE POSITION?

 

As a Software Architect at SPR Consulting, create complex solutions and play a strategic leadership role within the company and with clients. You will be responsible for full lifecycle development, and must be able to articulate design decisions and translate business requirements/user stories into application logic. As a Big Data Principal Architect at SPR Consulting, you must have extensive experience building and operating Big Data solutions with a proven track record in driving business success by architecting, designing, adopting and applying big data strategies and architectures. You must be experienced in large-scale system implementations with a focus on complex data processing and analytics pipelines. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of data analytics best practices, and expertise in data modeling, data cleansing, data mining, machine learning, and data virtualization. The Big Data Principal Architect must be a consensus builder across a highly- technical cross-functional team. The Advisory & Support Principal Architect will oversee and manage SharePoint and Microsoft Solution Development Advisory and Support engagements. SPR Consulting offers Advisory & Support (A&S) to our clients as a way to stay engaged with them on an ongoing basis.

 

Each A&S engagement requires three roles: A Principal Architect (PA), a technical resource and someone to manage the engagement. The role of the PA is key to our relationship with the client. It is this person's responsibility to provide the advisory portion of our offerings. The Lead UX Strategist is an integral part of the SPR UX strategy and design team. Working closely with the VP of Sales, the Business Development Manager will participate in meeting SPR's key objectives by executing marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve the company's revenue and profit goals. The Business Development Manager will focus on opportunities that complement SPR's project-based and strategic staffing model and seek to create opportunities for  expansion in the Midwestern Region.

 
Responsibilities: 

 

Business Development

  • Participates in the development and execution of marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable, timely growth and the expansion of company offerings
  • Meets and exceeds various sales goals to include pipeline goals, client meetings, profit and  revenue targets
  • Identifies, networks with, and markets to technology and line of business prospects
  • Attends company-held events, outside networking events and other client activities (dinners, lunches, etc.)
  • Develops and maintains long-term client relationships.  Aids in maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Creates and delivers accurate and timely proposals, statements of work, RFI's/RFP's/RFQ's for new business opportunities with new and existing clients

 

General

  • May act in a mentorship capacity to colleagues and Inside Sales Reps
  • Participates in department and company meetings

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship builder and connects easily with others
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years selling in a technology field (services is preferred)
  • Experience with solution selling preferred
  • Proven ability to grow and maintain relationships and revenue with key players at accounts
  • Adept with Micro
